All creation echoes the character of its Maker. But he has
revealed himself most clearly in his word, the Bible. The Creator is a
communicating God. Therefore, his church must be a listening people.
Listening, orthodox believers through the centuries have captured
the core of God’s self-revelation in its doctrine and confessions. These
affirmations, as embodied in our creed, serve as both center and
circumference of who we are.
In our life together we seek to embody these ultimate
concerns through balancing the biblical priorities of evangelism, edification,
exaltation, encouragement, and equipping one another for service as captured in
our philosophy of ministry.
Our organization or
structuring of church enables a unified pursuit of these priorities.
