Flash Slideshows Making a Comeback

Gathering for worship on Sunday morning as God's people is a transforming experience. It is vital as followers of Jesus that the truths we learn and the emotions we express during formal worship be translated into our lives 24/7.  In order to facilitate continual growth, healthy relationships, and service to others, our congregation engages in activities during the week as family time and other demands allow.  Some of these opportunities include:

Fellowship Meals:  On the fourth Sunday of each month we have a meal together after communion in place of our education hour.  In a fast-paced world this family time is crucial.

Small Groups:  Our small groups, called HEART Groups (Home, Encouragement, Accountability, Relationship, Teaching), are designed to provide a place for close friendships, discipleship, and accountability.  They are the primary care unit in our congregation.

Bible Studies:  The men meet at the church almost every Friday morning at 6:30 AM for The Three P's (Psalms, Proverbs, and Prayer).

Social Activities:  During the year we like to have fun together.  This usually means movie nights and picnics during the summer, campfires during the fall, and special nights out around Christmas and Valentine's day.

Serving Others:  On the fourth Sunday of each month our HEART Groups rotate the responsibility of providing worship services for two local rest homes.  We also enjoy taking care of the facilities God has provided on church work days, and serving various ministries in our community, such as:  The Salvation Army, Faith Mission, and Goodwill.
