Having been regenerated by the grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and having confessed our faith before men in baptism, we do now in the presence of God and His assembly most joyfully and sincerely enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.
We covenant, by the help of the Spirit of God, to walk together in Christian love, to serve in the work and worship of the church, to promote its spirituality and prosperity, to sustain its worship, ordinances, disciplines and doctrines, to attend its services, and to contribute to the support of its ministry with the giving of ourselves and our resources.
We also covenant to obey the Word of God, to witness for Christ by our words and lives, to be just in our dealings with all men, to be faithful in our commitments, and exemplary in our testimony.
We further covenant to pray for one another diligently, to be devoted to one another, honor one another, accept one another, admonish one another, serve one another, bear with one another, encourage one another, submit to one another, and bear one another's burdens.
Humbly confessing our need, we pray for grace to keep this covenant to the glory of God alone.
Do you acknowledge yourselves to be sinners in the sight of God, justly deserving His displeasure, and without hope save in His sovereign mercy?
Do you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and Savior of sinners, and do your receive and rest upon Him alone for salvation as He offered in the Gospel?
Do you now resolve and promise, in humble reliance upon the grace of the Holy Spirit, that you will endeavor to live as becomes the followers of Christ?
Do you promise to support the church in its worship and work to the best of your ability?
Do you submit yourselves to the government and discipline of the church, and promise to study its purity and peace?
Do you, in all sincerity, love the Lord Jesus Christ?
