Literally meaning "coffee chat" (German), this is a time of casual conversation enjoyed by men who meet early on almost every Saturday morning for a cup of coffee and a donut at Tim Horton's in New Albany. Usually, our conversation is directed around a book we may be reading, though we are not averse to talking about whatever happens to be floating on the popular currents, albeit from a Christian worldview. Sometimes the word Kaffeeklatsch is used as a means of describing informally hosted meetings of movers and shakers, and we occasionally delude ourselves into believing the rhetoric.

This is a women's ministry aimed at providing a forum for the participants to chat about books and life from a Christian worldview. Books from a variety of genres, both secular and sacred, are read and discussed. Sometimes the meetings are in homes, or even in bookshops or other unique places, with an occasional guest speaker invited. The quarterly meetings are typically on Saturday mornings, and women of all ages are welcome to attend.

This group is an opportunity for women to edify and encourage one another in their walk of faith. Meeting twice a month, the subject matter is scripture-based while the forum is generally a teacher-led discussion. Special care is taken to arrive at accurate interpretation and practical application of the text to the unique challenges faced by the contemporary Christian women. The meetings are usually on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, and women of all ages are welcome to attend.
